-
Many Corporate Friends and Sponsors.
AUSSL has amassed over $7 million dollars in research equipment, in large part through generous donations from national and corporate research laboratories.
Locally, AUSSL collaborates with the Alabama Micro/Nano Science and Technology Center (AMNSTC), the Auburn University Huntsville Research Center (AUHRC), the National Center for Additive Manufacturing Excellence, the Thomas Walter Center for Technology Management, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, the Chemistry Department, the Chemical Engineering Department, the Materials Science Department, the Mechanical Engineering Department, and the Manufacturing Innovation Institute for Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE MII).
In addition, AUSSL is a central point of activity for our National Science Foundation (NSF) funded AU/NSF Center for Advanced Vehicle and Extreme Environment Electronics (CAVE3), an Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (IU/CRC) dedicated to finding solutions to a wide range of board-level, microelectronics, and packaging reliability problems common to the harsh environment and vehicle industry.

We especially thank our early research partners, who trusted us as CAVE3 was birthed and helped build our model of university-government-industry partnerships ...
